Feng Shui is more than interior design, it's design with purpose and intention, to move you forward in life on your goals and desires, rather than hold you back from your dreams!
Have you ever wondered why there are some places where you really love to spend time in and others where you can’t wait to get out of? In most cases it has to do with the energy in the space or the flow of energy (or Chi), as well as the balances or the imbalances of the elements in that space. Our environments affect us on an energetic level. When we are in an environment that has a depressing feel, over time we may feel that energy and feel depressed as well, and we may not even understanding why. If the environment uplifts us and moves us, we become a lot more happy and productive, in all aspects of life. All things are made of energy, as we are energetically connected to all things, either at a conscious or subconscious level. At some level they affect everything we do and feel, often without us even realizing it.
Feng Shui teaches that every object that we own should have it's place and purpose. Each object is filled with energy or Chi that is "actively engaging" and effecting us albeit subtle, activating our emotions, memories, and feelings, at a subconscious level. Feng Shui is an Ancient Chinese Art form that works with the Life Force Energy known as "Chi", to enhance the energy of your space. "Everything in your space is talking to you all the time."
"If you want to change your life, move 27 things in your home."
`Chinese proverb
"This proverb speaks of the powerful connection our homes have with our lives. It provides not only words of wisdom but also a breadth of knowledge about the interrelation of energy in our living spaces, known as feng shui." Tisha Morris, Feng Shui Your Life: The Quick Guide To DeClutter Your Home.
